List of country calling codes

Below you see a list of International Country Dialing codes.
This list includes also the International Dialing Prefix (IDD) and the Country Calling Code by country.
Almost each country in the world has its own country calling code, it is a single- or up to three-digit number which you have to dial to make a call to that country.

Dialing Instructions

1. For international calling codes, most countries have two-digit country codes. For instance, France's country code is 33, and the United Kingdom's country code is 44. The United States' country code is an exception, with just the code 1. Some smaller countries have three-digit international telephone codes, such as the Republic of Ireland's country code, which is 353.
   Dial the International Direct Dialing (IDD) number. Countries have different numbers, or may have more than one IDD, depending on the carrier or type of service.
2. Dial the Country Code. In some cases, the country code is shared among countries. For example, the United States, Canada, and much of the Caribbean and Guam use country code 1
3. Dial the city/area code (if any) for the number you are dialing. Smaller countries may not use city codes or area codes, while larger countries have hundreds of them.
4. Dial the phone number you are calling.

1. Dial your country's exit code

This is the exit code that signals to your telephone provider that you're about to make an international call.

2. Dial the US country code

This is the United States country code. This number is universal, dial this number to call the U.S.A. from any other country.

3. Dial the 3-digit area code

All US area codes are three digits long and are most likely included when phone numbers are displayed.

4. Dial the remaining 7 digits.

In total, all United States phone numbers are exactly 10 digits long, including the area code.

This is the exit code that signals to your telephone provider that you're about to make an international call.

2. Dial the France country code

Dial 33, the country code for France.This will let your carrier know you are going to call France from the US.

3. Dial the 2 or 3-digit area code

Enter the area code.If the city code begins with a 0, you may ignore the 0 and dial the remaining numbers.

4. Dial the remaining 9 digits.

Dial the phone number.Following the area code, dial the phone number. France has 9 digit phone numbers.
